Boston Bay Baby Calamari is wild caught in the clean waters of Spencer Gulf and snap frozen for freshness. Sourced from the prawn seine fishery operating out of Boston Bay, this is properly handled South Australian seafood.

Each pack serves approximately two people and includes whole cleaned baby calamari – tubes with wings attached plus cleaned tentacles. Sizes range from around 3–4cm up to approximately 11cm, giving you a mix of small, tender pieces perfect for quick cooking.

Calamari is more tender and delicate than common squid, with a softer texture and cleaner flavour. When cooked properly it is light, mild and incredibly easy to eat, making it ideal for families and anyone who thinks they “don’t like squid”.

These are snap frozen to lock in quality.

Cook it hot and fast. Flash fry with salt and olive oil. Dust lightly in flour for classic crispy calamari. Or score the tubes and throw them straight onto a hot BBQ plate. Overcook it and it toughens. Treat it properly and it is beautifully tender.
