Schnauzers set the gold standard for family dogs, we know this because they’re our family pets, and we’ve decided to breed them for other families to enjoy.
The Standard Schnauzer’s a medium-sized, robust, intelligent breed, originating in Germany. Known for their strong, wiry coat, complete with distinctive bushy eyebrows, beard, and tail – these dogs know how to make an impression!
A puppy raised with love and care in a family household will often have better social skills, and be more resilient to household stimulus, therefore being less likely to get spooked or bark.

FAMILY DOGS ALWAYS
Here’s what we believe at Wolki Farm: family dogs are bred in family environments, not puppy mills. We’ve been breeding various breeds of dogs for decades, and we know from experience that the temperament of any dog is determined by its upbringing.

All our breeding dogs are raised in homes with families who adore them. Some live with us (the Wolki family), and some live with guardian families. Guardian families are families we’ve selected to own and care for our breeding dogs as their own forever pet. They bring puppies into the world (either in their family home, or in the Wolki family home) only a select number of times, and then they live out the rest of their lives with their guardian families.
HEALTHCARE AND DIET
Fear not the vet bills – the Standard Schnauzer is a robust and healthy breed of dog requiring minimal healthcare. Generally, they enjoy a long life, averaging 12-15 years.
Great nutrition results in healthy dogs. Fact. Here at Wolki Farm, all our dogs are fed only the best: raw pet food, sourced from out own Wolki Butchery. Put simply, dogs’ digestive systems aren’t built for carbohydrate-based processed kibble; they’re made for raw meat, offal, and bones. We want your puppy to have a healthy start to life, so we feed them a clean, raw, wholesome diet – just as nature intended. We encourage you to do the same.
GROOMING AND EXERCISE
Standard Schnauzers are known for their distinctive wiry coats which can be black, salt-and-pepper, or black-and-silver. They’re also famous for their bushy eyebrows, handsome beards, and fresh haircuts. Needless to say, these guys require regular grooming to keep their gorgeous coats in check.

Hi, we’re Ann and Jake Wolki, proud owners (and breeders) of Standard Schnauzers. We love animals (clearly), but in particular, we love family dogs. There’s a bond, a loyalty, that no other person or animal can replicate. It’s honestly priceless.
You’ll find many breeds of dog wandering our farm and household, and we’d hate to say we play favourites, but…we kinda do. We love our Schnauzers.
There’s just something about watching our sons play and interact with the Schnauzers – their intelligence and patience makes them the perfect best mate for little people. Their bond means they learn about the world together, creating beautiful memories to cherish forever.
We’ve been breeding various dogs for decades, and in 2015 we began breeding Mini Schnauzers – which was amazing. But when we decided we wanted a bigger Schnauzer, we decided to import some pure bloodline Standard Schnauzers from Croatia and breed them for other families to enjoy.
We know the value these handsome furry pals bring to our family, and we know without a doubt that they’ll bring the same light to your life as well.

It’s no secret that purchasing a quality pet is a lifetime commitment and big investment – this is no exception. Our Standard Schnauzers are bred in loving family environments, with premium-quality vet care and nutrition.
Our Standard Schnauzers have been imported from World Champion Breeder, Monika Skok in Croatia, bringing highly sought after pure bloodlines to Australia. What does this mean for you? It means a pet who’ll not only conform to physical characteristic expectations, such as size and coat colour, but also a puppy with an even temperament, who’ll go on to live a long and healthy life.
All our puppies are vet-checked, microchipped, vaccinated, and with their very own blanket that has the scent of their mum and siblings on it to help with the adjustment.
But we don’t stop there…we’re committed to helping more Australians enjoy the happiness of owning Schnauzers. Which is why we offer follow-up guidance and a private online community of Schnauzer-lovers just like yourself.
