Good things take time. And love. Our pasture raised chicken is a great example. Our chickens are out enjoying a (daily) smorgasbord of fresh pasture as soon as they’re old enough to live without their heat lamps.

These guys have 24/7 access to bugs, grubs, grain, and grass – all the essential components to a happy, healthy, chemical, and hormone-free chicken. As for time, our pasture raised chickens take at least twice as long to raise as the conventional ‘shed birds’.

 

 

What is pasture raised chicken?

Our chickens are beyond free range – you won’t find our chooks pecking around in barren dirt yards, and you certainly won’t find them crammed in sheds. They’re moved daily to fresh, green, lush pastures. 

What does this mean? Well, for one, it means you can enjoy your family roast knowing your chicken enjoyed a great life, while adding to the biodiversity of our land (instead of degrading it). But also, you can enjoy a chicken that actually tastes like chicken – instead of the bland nothing-ness we’ve come to accept from intensively farmed chickens.

Each box is thoughtfully curated to provide you with a variety of cuts that’ve been expertly butchered in-house. 

All meat comes cryovac packed and frozen while fresh for ultimate shelf life and freshness.
