What is Wolki lard soap made from?

Our organic soap is meticulously handcrafted by local soap superstar, Gwen, at Back to Earth Soaps. She takes our pasture raised lard and infuses it with an array of carefully selected organic ingredients, making it ideal for people with sensitive skin or anyone seeking a more natural alternative. 

The end product is a gentle and indulgent cleansing experience that leaves your skin feeling soft, supple, and rejuvenated.

 

 

Why pig lard?

Here at Wolki farm, we refuse to waste any part of any animal we butcher. We render down animal fats to create lard and tallow to be used in place of cooking oils, and also as a base for Wolki soap.

 

Here’s just some of the benefits of pig lard soap:

• Moisturiszing: pig lard is rich in fatty acids, particularly oleic acid, which is known for its moisturiszing properties. When applied to the skin, pig lard can help create a barrier that locks in moisture, keeping the skin hydrated and preventing dryness
