What are Wolki beef sausages made out of?

You WON’T find any of these ingredients in any Wolki sausages:

• Gluten
• Nuts or seeds
• Preservatives
• Additives
• Chemicals

 

You WILL find these ingredients in Wolki sausages:

• Grass fed protein
• Rice flour
• Natural hog casings

 

That’s right folks, you won’t find any synthetic sausage skins in our butchery because we believe in honouring any animal we butcher, and in doing so we eat nose-to-tail, utilising every portion of the animal. In this instance, we use our pasture raised hog intestines as sausage casings.

Ordering our grass fed beef sausage box is a perfect solution to filling the freezer with honest and delicious meat that’ll affordably feed a family – without sacrificing nutritional value. 

The beef sausages are conveniently cryovac packed into 600 gram portions (approx. 6 sausages in each packet) and frozen straight away. So all you have to do is unpack them into the freezer until you’re ready to create a delicious meal with them. Easy right?

Since starting Wolki Butchery we’ve been blown away by how many people make comments like “our kids actually eat your sausages” and “your snags are the only ones that don’t make me sick”.

In a world of rising medical illnesses, chronic disease, and dietary intolerances, it makes sense to take a close look at what goes into the food we eat, and eliminate all the harmful additives that are often included in our foods. Our Wolki sausages do just that. 

But we take it one step further with our GAPS and allergy friendly sausages, which are made of protein, salt, pepper, and hog casings. That’s it.

Our GAPS sausages can be purchased in beef, pork, lamb, & chicken – all pasture raised, all organic.
