We’ve answered this question in detail here.
We’re extremely proud to have our produce stocked on the shelves of local small businesses that share the same values around our food system. You can find them here.
Did you know we have a members-only butchery that’s open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, right here in Albury? That’s right, Wolki Butchery in Lavington has developed a completely self-service butchery experience – taking convenience to the next level.
Membership is free, but places are limited. If your membership is approved, you’re given access to the butchery, where you can purchase your local pasture-raised produce and small goods.
Want to know more about how you can become a member? Check out the details here.
Here’s the deal. We love our people and we like to think our people love us. We’re protective of the community we’re cultivating; they’re conscientious, supportive, honest, and willing to vote (with their wallets) for the change they want to see in our food systems.
If you’re reading this, you’re likely the same, and we’d love to welcome you into our fold. A membership system allows us to open the butchery 24/7, unstaffed, to members who share the same values and are as honest with us as we are with them. It truly is a relationship when you join the Wolki Tribe.
Membership is free, but places are limited and not guaranteed.
We suggest attending a farm tour before becoming a member; this way, you can see where your food comes from, how it’s raised, and decide if our vision aligns with your values.
We believe that as a consumer you have a right to know exactly what you’re eating. Yet, industry standards fall short of this. We don’t. We encourage you to ask questions on our farm tours, because it’s important you know what your food-dollars are purchasing.
Not currently. At the moment, membership is free, but it is exclusive, and places are limited. In order to qualify for the free membership, we ask that you attend a Wolki Farm tour to learn more about where your meat comes from.
Yes you can, just pop us an email and we’ll cancel it right away.
Wolki Butchery is 100% self-serve. Which gives you time to peruse the huge variety of products and choose your own cuts. But, it also means self-checkout. Now, we know how stressful some self-checkouts can be (looking at you, big supermarkets)…not ours! Paying for your products in our self-service butchery could not be easier. You simply checkout and pay using an app on your smartphone.
You can use cash to purchase Wolki produce at any of our local small business stockists.
Yes! You can order online (for delivery or pickup), and pay with Bitcoin.
Ahhh, but it is staffed! Say what? But you said….stay with us here…
The front of the butchery isn’t staffed (the retail side).
The back of the butchery is occupied by two friendly butchers busy cutting and packaging all your delicious cuts of meat.
Lucky for us, they’re also pretty handy with a cleaning cloth!
Here’s the truth: Wolki Farm meat is traceable, local, and ‘expensive’.
We’re proud of that.
Yes, it costs more fiscally, but not all costs are rounded up at the tills.
Unfortunately, the big guys subsidise the cost of meat with welfare, environmental impact, and quality. We’ll never follow suit.
However, we know budget is a massive factor to consider when feeding families, so we offer a convenient option to stock the freezer with bulk packs of premium grass fed and finished beef, while saving money at the same time.
Buying your protein this way offers many benefits, including:
- Food security: have a year’s worth of meat in the freezer
- Origin: know exactly where your meat comes from
- No nasties: no chemicals, additives, or fillers
- Nose-to-tail: respecting the animal by eating all the cuts
- Convenient: portion-controlled, labelled, cryovaced, and frozen
- Value: you save over 20% off retail price per cut
Not only that, if you’re in one of our delivery areas, you can order online, and we’ll drop it right to your door. Think of the convenience!
We’re here to answer any and all questions. In fact, we think it’s about time more people started asking questions about the food they’re purchasing! If you ever have any questions at all, feel free to contact us, and we’ll get back to you as quickly as a pig to mud.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY ABOUT US
“I can trust the quality of Wolki meat because I’ve met the farmer (Jake), whereas you just never know what you’re going to get from the supermarket.”
ELISA BARTHOLOMAEUS
“Haven’t eaten meat for years because of ethical reasons. We’re enjoying meat again, from Wolki farm. More than happy to purchase their top quality and high welfare standard products of animal raising and processing. Absolutely the most superior farm produce.”
Claire Briggs
“I’ve enjoyed a range of Wolki Farm meat products. The bacon is delicious. The sausages are yummy and come in a range of flavours. I’ve purchased them fresh and frozen and they are equally as good. Always handy to have in the freezer for an easy dinner.”
Melanie Cate
“Thank you Wolki Farm.At the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown, we ordered a beef split. Best move ever! Seriously the most tasty protein that we’ve purchased. Not grain fed, grass fed, highly recommend their produce. Anyone that knows me, understands that I don’t beat around the bush! Shop local. Support regenerative farming. No nasties. DO IT! You won’t regret it.”

Just wanted to let you know that the chicken is amazing. I’ve tried a lot of different brands (all organic, funnily) but yours supersedes. When I made my chicken stock, It virtually had no scum (compared with significantly more with other brands) and my stock had a beautiful golden colour and heaps more flavour. Thank you, will definitely be buying more.
MEL
“Wolki Farm. What a local gem! This business and the faces behind it are integrity in action. Due to the influence of Wolki Farm we as a family have transformed the way we do life in so many ways…from being more intentional about buying our food locally, and where possible organic. And making use of the space we have in our own back yard (literally)…planting and growing a good size veggie garden and buying wolki raised chickens for our personal egg supply. The farm tour is inspiring. I’d highly recommend it. Our monthly meat box is always a treat to receive, with quality cuts that put my mind at ease knowing my family are eating quality, locally & pasture raised meat without all of the ‘nasties’. And a whole lot more affordable than I realised. Their innovation and genuine care and concern for our local community is exceptional. If you’ve not yet taken time to invest in growing your understanding and know-how around how to live more sustainably then these guys need to be your first point of contact.”
Glenda O'Neill
“I am someone who cares deeply about where my food comes from and how it was grown. The conditions that the commercial pork industry subjects it’s animals to is horrendous and as a result, I have chosen to forgo pork for over 2 years.
The work of Wolki Farm with their regenerative agricultural philosophy and their commitment to animal welfare means I can now on occasion, enjoy pork knowing that it came from an animal that was free to be what nature intended it to be.
We need to support Wolki Farm and regenerative agriculture as a whole so we, our kids, and future generations will have access to real, nutrient dense foods without the destruction of our natural environment.
Support local, support regenerative and embrace the extra few dollars that this costs, knowing that you are making a difference.”
